Hadith on Remembrance: Allah boasts to the angels for those who remember Him
Mu’awiya reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came out to a gathering of his companions and he said, “Why are you sitting?” They said, “We are sitting to remember Allah and to praise him for guiding us to Islam and blessing us with it.” The Prophet said, “By Allah, you are only sitting for this?” They said, “By Allah, we are only sitting for this.” The Prophet said, “Verily, I did not ask you for an oath due to doubting you, but rather Gabriel has told me that Allah the Exalted is exulting you to the angels.”
